I am a former first grade teacher. I taught at a Title I Elementary School and I loved it. It was challenging, rewarding, and a truly awesome feeling knowing that you are directly affecting the future. I had worked in a classroom ever since high school. I've worked in both pre-school and elementary school settings, private and public. I firmly believe teaching is a calling, not a job, and it's all about what you make of it!
I utilize a variety of teaching styles that best fits the needs of my students. Whether it's whole group instruction, center rotations, partner work, or one-on-one learning, I take that extra step to make sure I am meeting my students where they are, yet guiding them to reach their maximum potential. Plus, we like to have some fun :)
