TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been working in K-8 classrooms throughout Western New York since 2003. I have taught pre-K, second grade, sixth grade, and primary reading. I have also created and taught my own small group workshops focused primarily on writing, reading, and math. These days, I stay at home with my two little boys and create teaching resources. I'm so excited to share my creations with students all over the world. I hope that my materials help you plan and organize around your busy teacher life!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I prefer to act as a facilitator of knowledge toward my students rather than the traditional authority figure. I believe that students should have a strong role in their own journey toward mastery. Having authentic, hands-on learning experiences will ultimately teach them more about the content, themselves, and the world around them and lead to a better grasp of the material. Creating an insatiable curiosity toward the world and a true love of learning is my goal.
