TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have a Masters in Special Education and I have experience working with students ages 9-22. My teaching experience includes 4 years of teaching 5th and 6th grade students with learning differences. My volunteer and student experience includes working with adults with special needs in transition services and teaching English to refugees.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I enjoy incorporating creativity and technology into my lesson plans. I find it is important to modify assignments and curriculum when teaching students with learning differences.

I love to travel all over the world! I often incorporate my traveling experiences into my classroom lessons. I also love encouraging students to give back to the community. I think it is important for students to understand the positive benefits they will reap from helping others in need.

I taught for four years and I have served as a Learning Specialist for the last year and a half. I am so serve as the Service Learning Coordinator at my school.
