TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a high school English teacher for twenty-six years. I have taught courses in AP Literature and Composition, AP Language and Composition, Honors English III, Honors English I, College Prep English III, College Prep English I, Remedial Reading, and CAHSEE Prep. I am the course lead for English I. Twenty-four of the twenty-six years has been at the same high school in Southern California. I began teaching for two years in the Midwest. I have also served as a district trainer for Marzano's strategies and I am currently serving as part of a district team writing units for the ELA Common Core Curriculum.
