I spent years as a tutor for individuals with disabilities covering various grades and subjects before leading a classroom. I have a BS in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Cognitive Impairment. I have worked in a general education 2nd grade classroom, a self contained elementary special education classroom, an early childhood education program, and I have collaborated with my mom (a high school special education teacher) on projects for her classroom. I am currently working on my master's degree in Learning & Technology.
I love game-based learning. Growing up my mother made learning a game all of the time. My brother and I would race to add numbers on license plates, we were involved in reading clubs at the local library, and we had the opportunity to visit plenty of museums and other fun educational places. I want to bring my love for learning to all of the students I work with and I am excited to share these fun resources with you and your students as well!

I was homeschooled K-2nd grade. I went to 6 different schools between 3rd and 7th grade. I finished 7th-12th grade in Flint, Michigan. I had some incredible teachers who changed my life which lead me to pursue education. I found out that I had an even greater passion for special education, and that's how I ended up where I am today.
I recently graduated with a M. Ed. in Learning and Technology. I work as a resource room teacher at a 2-5 grade elementary school at this time and I'm loving every minute of it!
