After graduating from MSU, I started working as a Resource Room teacher for students K-6. Currently, I work at an intermediate school where I get to work with some awesome 5th and 6th graders!
If you were to walk into my classroom, you would see a group of people who truly care about one another. In my classroom, I spend lots of time creating a safe environment at the beginning of the year. I want my students to know that it isn't the test scores that are my top priority. For me, I want my students to be respectful, kind, compassionate people who will make a difference in the world. Because of the trust we build in my classroom, we are able to work hard and get a lot accomplished! My teaching style is always- students first.

I graduated from Michigan State University (Go Spartans!) in 2012. While I was there, I studied in the College of Education where I majored in Special Education- Learning Disabilities. I am certified to teach K-12 Special Education, K-5 (all subject areas), and K-8 ELA.
Growing up, I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher! I grew up in a family of educators who instilled in me a love of learning. I truly love my job and want to make a difference in the lives of my students.
