TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 7 years experience teaching general middle and high school sciences classes as well as IB, IGCSE and AP level advanced classes. Most of my materials are designed for these courses, and are differentiated to take into consideration the needs of ESL learners.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I strongly believe in using authentic, hands-on, real world experiences when it comes to teaching the sciences. STEM activities and labs are a must in every classroom and I hope that the materials I provide will be able to help you accomplish that.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in 2008 with a double major in Wildlife Management and Forestry and minors in Environmental Law and Biology. After graduating, I decided to take a year off to teach field classes to IB and IGCSE students in Thailand wishing to complete their coursework requirements. During this year, my passion for education grew. In 2012 I completed my Masters in Education and have been fortunate to teach in some of the best schools in SE Asia.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I currently live in Bangkok, Thailand and work at one of the top international schools in the country. I am married to a Thai national and we have two beautiful, bi-racial boys.

Teachers Pay Teachers is an online marketplace where teachers buy and sell original educational materials.
