TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Working with children is the best job in the world! I have been teaching for 37 years and I still love it! Most of my experience has been with high achievers in grades 1-9. I am currently the gifted coordinator for my school system and work with general education teachers on differentiating for high achievers and developing curriculum materials aligned to the Common Core. Creating is my passion!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to infuse creative and critical thinking into every lesson. I believe students should be taught through inquiry based learning and create products and performances to demonstrate understanding.
