I have been teaching for 11 years. The subjects I have taught include Biology and Physical Science to both middle school and high school students. I have also instructed choral music, and have musically directed shows at the school and semi-professional level. I have advanced experience in interdisciplinary instruction and brain-based learning. My doctoral degree in education was completed in helping students learn science using music.
My teaching style is a combination of several. My classroom incorporates art, music, and technology in order to challenge students of all learning styles. Labs and inquiry based activities are used frequently along with smartboard directed classroom debates and discussions.
