I taught for Loudoun County Public Schools in Virginia for three years with experience in kindergarten and second grade. Once my husband and I moved to California I assisted in preschool then first grade at a private Christian school before becoming pregnant. I decided to take time off to raise my son, but continue to enjoy creating resources for the elementary classroom!
I love learning new approaches to teaching and rely a lot on the influences of other great teachers around me. I am known to be very structured with my class, but believe in student choice and learning through active exploration.
