MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

My love for teaching mathematics began during my first year of my teaching career. I discovered that I enjoyed creating new ways to help students understand difficult concepts within mathematics. I enjoy working with curriculum and especially collaborating with other colleagues about mathematics. I serve and have served on many system-wide level teams and enjoy reading about leadership and ways to improve instruction.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am have been married for 12 years and I am the mother of two beautiful girls. We spend most of our time together at home or doing little outings with each other. At church, we are active in the children's programs. I teach the PreK class there, which I truly enjoy!
