TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have had the chance to teach in an elementary school for 2 years where I taught a 3rd and 4th grade special education class. For the past 6 years I have taught ELA and Social Studies for self contained students at the middle school level. I have also had the opportunity to help design a classroom for a variety of emotional disabilities. I teach in New York State and am fully implementing the Common Core and the new modules into my classrooms.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I think it is important to be clear and consistent. My classroom is organized and structured, yet fun and creative. I like the students to make connections to lessons and create a love of learning.
