TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 15 years, most of which have been in Columbus City Schools in Ohio. I have taught middle school math and science, and I have also tutored high school students in the summer to prepare them for the Ohio Graduation Test. Additionally, I have done some curriculum writing for the math department in our district.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to do a combination of hands-on activities, cooperative group projects, and direct instruction. I believe variety keeps the students engaged.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I received the PAS award for the last two years for math test scores that were above the district average.
