TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Kelly Wilson is a freelance teacher-author who writes educational resources for teachers and homeschooling parents to use with their students. Although she develops resources for all subjects and grade levels, elementary science and social studies is her specialty.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I don't subscribe to any one specific educational philosophy, however, much of what I do is modeled after Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences and Vivian Paley's model of play as a means of social interaction and intellectual growth.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Nominated twice for Teacher of the Year

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Kelly has been teaching since 1993. She holds Bachelor of Art degrees in English and elementary education and a Master of New Professional Studies degree in Education. Kelly currently lives in New York and is enjoying her well-earned sabbatical.
