TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have had more than 25 years of experience in teaching all grade levels of Art and subjects related to Art. Most of my teaching has been in public high schools and grade schools with very diverse student populations. The educational media I have developed and used for student success over the years has come from my years and years of working with all types of students and learning conditions.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Student centered learning is my approach to all of my educational media, lessons and tutorials. Learning only comes with reflection and reflection comes with doing.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

As an Art teacher, I have always been involved in the "business" of art for my entire career. Starting out as a Graphic Designer in the mid 70s, I used my education degree to make educational media and products including books and videos. My graphic design experience of over 20 years includes many clients in the Indianapolis area including the Indiana Repertory Theatre, The YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, and a large local printing company whose client was an NFL team. I have used my graphic design experience along with my recent degree in Educational Technology to create meaningful and vibrant materials for teachers in a broad area of subject areas.
