This is my 23rd year of teaching. I began my career as a substitute teacher in San Diego, California for six months at a variety of public and private schools. I then taught, 2, 2/3 and 4/5 in Los Angeles, California at a multi-track school. Next I team taught a K/1/2 mulitage classroom for 8 years in Santa Monica, California. I have been teaching kindergarten and K/1 at my current school in Malibu, California. I have also taught adults how to use technology and how to incorporate technology in the classroom throughout my elementary education career.
I am a facilitator as well as a classroom leader. I develop the parameters in which my students feel comfortable and confident to be successful and make progress.
