MY TEACHING STYLE

Years of experience in the field have taught us that engaged and motivated students are learning students. We therefore utilize the enjoyable and effective medium of song to facilitate learning wherever possible. ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I'm Irish-born of very loving Irish parents, and am one of 5 siblings (3 sisters and one brother) - 3 teachers, one nurse (theatre sister), and an entertainer. I credit my father, an inspirational teacher (high school, Head of English Department), for my love of teaching, writing, singing, and the English language. I am happily married and am the mother of 3 beautiful children (one deceased). I have sung all my life and have been a member of one music group for nearly 30 years. I am also a member of a Cantor Club (the musical kind). I believe in the importance of helping children to develop their hearts as well as their minds, and for this reason, our curriculum songs are also value-based.
