TEACHING EXPERIENCE

6 years of teaching private, group, and adult piano lessons.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to add games and hands-on experiences to my piano teaching and I want to share them with you!! Parents don't want to pay to have the students play an app they can play at home, so these are an alternative way to have fun without the screen and avoid boring old flashcards.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Well every student recital is a shining teacher moment! :) Most recently I had an article on teaching Baby Boomer "re-starter" pianists nationally published in American Music Teacher.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy, from Western Illinois University Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, from Valparaiso University

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

This will come soon! I recently moved to Indianapolis, Indiana, so things are busy! In the meantime, I have started a blog: http://www.kimberlykeimpiano.com/#!blog/c8s4
