TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a teacher for the past 8 years. I have taught general education (PreK, Kindergarten, and second) and I have taught special educaton (kinder and first). I tutor students in all grade levels as well.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that all children learn differently. Students should be engaged in relevant, motivating, and hands on activities on their levels with differentiation and supports. Students should be able to assess themselves and be assessed fairly by the teacher.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I studied early childhood education at SUNY New Paltz and followed by going to CUNY Queens to receive a masters in special education. I am certified to teacher early childhood education, early childhood special education, childhood education, and childhood special education.
