TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching kindergarten in Texas for 6 years and I absolutely love it!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My philosophy is that learning should be fun and engaging! I've learned over the years that this is often hard to do when my kids are in stations. If it's not fun, a five year old isn't going to do it. So I revamped my classroom including ALL of my centers and everything is now something I've created.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have received many grants throughout the years and have had projects/supplies funded from DonorsChoose.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I grew up with a mom who was a teacher so I was constantly playing school. Eventually I decided that's what I wanted to do. I graduated from the University of North Texas and I have been teaching kindergarten and creating activities ever since.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

My mom has since retired from her school district and is part of the Kinder Extravaganza team. I couldn't do this without her! Thanks Mom! :)
