I have been teaching now for 6 years. I started my educational career teaching as a special education teacher in a resource classroom. I am currently teaching regular education Kindergarten. With my background being in special education I often have the co-taught Kindergarten class. I wouldn't change it for the world!
I consider myself a very hands on teacher! I don't mind getting a little messy in the process of learning. It engages the students and makes for great experiences for the students and myself to share!
I completed my Bachelors in ECE and SpEd from North Georgia College and State University. I received my Masters in Reading and Math from Walden University. Most recently I received my Specialist from Lincoln Memorial University.
Though what we do can be very challenging it is the most rewarding profession!
