TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Preschool 2 1/2 to 4 year old children Childcare 6 weeks to 6th grade. Elementary School 1st Grade Elementary School Kindergarten Mother to a 3 year old and 8 year old.

I believe in giving students choice, integrating subjects, meeting children where they are, differentiating for all students, creating a safe and loving classroom environment, emphasize problem solving, encourage independence, and work towards the mastery of standards through play.

I have my bachelors in Elementary Education, an Endorsement in Reading, and am currently working on my masters degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in mathematics.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have always had a passion for learning. From an early age I wanted to be a teacher. Upon graduating high school I immediately set out on achieving my goal. I am have become a life long learner and hope to someday obtain my doctorate and become a professor for an education department at the university level. I have a great commitment to children. I believe that all children can grow with nurturing and high expectations. When I am not at school teaching, I am at home with my own children and often time children of friends and family.
