TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching since 1991. I have taught Kindergarten for 19 years, and was a Computer teacher in both Elementary schools and Teacher Training Centers for 3 years, both part-time and full-time. I currently work with Administration as "Student Curriculum Support" for Pre-K, Kdg and 1st at my school. I set up trainings, support the classroom teachers with curriculum, supplies, lessons and work closely with new teachers at the school to get them comfortable with procedures and standards.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like getting the children up and moving, keeping them involved and excited. Games that support learning are the best way for children to learn! I used Kagan structures in my classroom, and lots of partner/team work for activities. The more variety you can offer, the more engaged the children will be.
