TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm Breeana, and I am the face behind Kindergarten Whale Tales. I am teaching my eighth year of kindergarten in the school district that I grew up in. I even teach in the classroom where my mom went to kindergarten! I never saw myself as a kindergarten teacher, but I was blessed with this position. Now I can't see myself teaching anything else.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach with the mindset of hands-on/minds-on to the best of my ability. When students are actively engaged in their learning, they are able to create memorable experiences.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

No official honors or awards, but I have the honor of teaching a great group of kindergarteners year after year.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana.
