I am a certified K-6 Elementary teacher. I have taught preschool, kindergarten, second, and fourth grades, and am currently an Intervention Teacher for grades K-4. I have also been a supervisor for a privately owned child care center organization where I oversaw over 25 staff members and over 200 children. Additionally, I provide guest lectures to undergraduate education majors on topics regarding interview advice, first-year teaching tips, classroom management, and effective teaching.
Whatever is best for my students!
Making a Difference YCP Award Nominee, Spring 2017
I graduated from high school in 2003, then spent five years in college working on my degree in Elementary Education, along with two minors in Special Education and Psychology. Since then I have been a long-term substitute, a day to day substitute, a camp counselor, a tutor, a PreK, K, 1, 2, and 4th grade teacher, a supervisor of a family-owned child care, a guest lecturer at my college alma mater, and an Intervention Teacher.
I love watching and enjoy playing sports, taking vacations, spending time with family and friends, taking pictures, making crafts, listening to music, going for walks, and all things school-related!
