I began my teaching journey as a substitute in fourth grade and loved it! Now, this is my third year teaching kindergarten and I couldn't imagine going back!
As a hands-on learner, I have a hands-on teaching style. I love changing it up, and having students constantly doing different things. I focus on student-centered learning activities. I provide students with engaging activities that necessitate active learning.
Still working on these...
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (PreK-4) and recently earned my Master's Degree in English and Language Arts (K-12) as well as a Certification in Instructional Technology (K-12).
