I am in my second year of teaching in Boston, MA at a Title IX school. I currently teach Kindergarten and love what I do! I have achieved success with all of my students and they are all performing above Kindergarten Grade level.
I am a very active teacher who likes to interact with her students. I love creating learning experiences for my students that are play based, but also incorporate academic learning. I also love to learn outdoors. I believe that taking the classroom outdoors is essential to young children. The more children are outside and exploring the real world that they live in, the better members of society they become. I hold my students to a very high standard and expect a lot out of them, but also ensure that I provide accommodations to meet the individual needs of each student in my classroom. Moreover, I encourage a student led classroom where students drive the direction of their learning. When students are in the drivers seat, they are more engaged with their learning.
