I believe in cooperative learning, direct instruction of phonics, small groups, and clear learning objectives! Hands-on methods are my favorite. I try to include kinesthetic opportunities for kids who need to move in many of my activities. As an ESL teacher, I enjoy planning and teaching thematic units that address Science, Social Studies and speaking, listening, reading and writing objectives within the units.
