TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Over twenty years in a variety of disciplines from ages 11- 18. Nine years teaching ESOL to adults including a spell in Applied Linguistics research. Recent experience of teacher training at University, now concentrating on producing high quality teaching resources for the digital age.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Love using technology to motivate and inspire pupils - especially those who are potentially disaffected. Encouraging collaboration and peer -to-peer learning is another passion.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Achieved Chartered Teacher status, a research degree for work on intelligibility in spoken English and have had resources nominated for a British Council Award.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

First degree in English and French, Applied Linguistics degree and degree in Educational Management. Post Graduate diplomas in teaching and teaching EFL.
