I am a National Board Certified teacher who was in the classroom for 16 years. I have taught middle and high school social studies. I have taught team taught/inclusion classes for all of those 16 years. I recently switched gears and earned my School Librarianship endorsement from Longwood University. I am currently a high school librarian. I love to read and believe that students don't do enough reading, especially in middle and high school. With all the demands on today's teachers it is hard to squeeze reading into our lesson. Many of my units are designed to help teachers implement more reading and still teach the content to their students.
