Middle and Upper School Science Teacher
I began my teaching career as a 5th grade math/science/writing teacher. After 3 years I moved on to teach K-5 art, high school Biology and then became a district instructional technology specialist for 4.5 years. When I had the opportunity to work at home and homeschool my children, I took it! That only lasted a short 1.5 years before I went back to the classroom to teach middle and upper school science. In my spare time, and when they need me, I adjunct in the education department at my Alma Mater.
I love problem-based learning and hands-on activities. Being a lifelong learner myself, I have a natural inquisitiveness about me that I want me students to see and hopefully model themselves.
