TEACHING EXPERIENCE

3 years of middle school life (7th) and physical science (8th). 1 year of pre-algebra and basic algebra 7 years of CP Biology (9th-10th) 6 years of AP Environmental Science (11th-12th) 5 years of high school remedial life science (9th-12th) 4 years of high school remedial physical science (9th-12th)

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is very structured and organized. I form each unit by examining what I want my students to know when the reach the assessment. I create the lecture content beginning with student learning objectives, followed by labs and activities that reinforce what was learned. Whenever possible field work is added in as well so they truly experience gathering data. Lectures for higher level classes have more content per slide and no accompanying guided notes.
