Public and Private school teacher turned homeschool mom of six and sometimes more... Foster mom / Adoptive mom
Hands - on learning and/or teaching is best, but variety is the spice of life. Knowing that, my school does some workbooks, lots of reading, trips to the library, online math, and outdoor science! It works for our family.

I began as a public school teacher then transitioned to private school where my children attended. After two years of that, I decided to home educate my children. I now teach them (and some other children from time to time), and have begun a local support group/co-op for other home schooled children. I also take on other children that are homeschooled a few times a week.
Christian wife and mother who loves spending time with a good book. My husband and I do foster care and have adopted. I'm passionate about all these areas and want to help others make informed decisions to home educate or adopt. I like to write and am currently working on a book called "Why You Should Homeschool Your ADHD Child". My next book I plan to do will be "Why You Should Homeschool Your Adopted Child".
