I have a wide variety of experiences in education. I have taught 6th grade math, 7th and 8th grade science, 4th grade, 5th grade and science/inquiry lab. I have also been a curriculum coordinator.
I am a very high-impact, open-minded teacher who loves to involve my students. I use hands-on, and minds-on approaches to learning and incorporate technology on a daily basis.
I have been teacher of the year twice and have won an ING Unsung Hero Grant Award.
