TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching since 2003, mainly in Hawaii. I've taught mainly at a Title I high school where 62 languages were spoken, but am now at the state's top public school -- as I upload products I've created from each setting, you'll see a wide variety in the approaches to meet student needs! I've taught English for grades 7, 9, 10, 11, and 12; SAT prep; Speech and Debate; Spanish I and II; and News Writing.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach standards based, student centered, workshop (Sam Bennet style). Of course, as no methodology is perfect, I change my style to match the needs of each lesson and the class personality.
