I have been teaching for 10 years. I began as a 5th grade teacher at a private school in Guam. I transitioned to teaching Kindergarten at a DOD school in Guam. When I moved to my home state of Washington, I began teaching Special Education. I have primarily taught at the elementary level but also enjoyed time at a middle school teaching 6th-8th Special Education. I currently teach K-6 Special Education focusing on 4-6 academics and K-6 learning strategies and behavior/social skills.
I use a combination of teaching styles to meet my students needs including Responsive Classroom, Direct Instruction, Constructivism, Love & Logic, and ABA.
