TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I worked in a preschool setting since for almost 10 years. At first, I was our preschool's librarian and resource teacher. I created many library lessons for my own use as well as many items specifically for our teachers. For four years, I taught pre-k. My classes learned through hands-on, interactive activities that brought fun into the classroom. Although I'm not teaching preschool anymore, I still enjoy creating resources that I know teachers can and will use!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Preschool learning should be all about fun! My classes loved hands-on activities, singing, cooking, experiments and creating things. My favorite area to teach is science. I've developed many products which can help you teach science as well as other topics in a fun way!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Knowing that other teachers can use and benefit from the things I created for my own classroom is a huge honor in itself. I love creating things that others can use, too.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I took a roundabout path to the classroom, graduating with a degree in economics, working in marketing, and then teaching preschool when my children were younger. I've returned to marketing now, but still like offering my products on TpT.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I'm married, with two kids, and live in Henrico, Virginia, outside Richmond.
