I firmly believe in a student-centered classroom, focused on differentiated instruction and collaborative learning tasks aligned to standards. With teachers as facilitators, students develop a growth mindset where learning occurs as students create, analyze, and recreate. Project Based Learning and STEM are both innovative ways to foster this learning environment, but any every day lesson can become student-centered and collaborative with the proper tools and solid pedagogical foundation. I LOVE each and every student I meet, and I do everything I can to light a spark within them and be the smile they see each day.
