It's crazy to think that I've been teaching for over ten years... Time flies while you're having fun!! While working on my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction I substitute taught in a K-4 suburban elementary school. Throughout my substitute teaching experience, I had several long-term positions where I taught in a 2nd Grade classroom, two different 4th Grade classrooms, and as a K-4th Grade Reading Specialist. After a few years substitute teaching, I accepted a job at a charter school in Buffalo, NY. I taught 3rd grade there for seven years. Unfortunately the school closed in June 2014. In October 2014 I accepted a 4th grade Math and Science teacher at another charter school in Buffalo, NY. I feel so fortunate to have a job doing what I love every day!
I absolutely LOVE teaching and have always found time to create my own resources or make resources I've been given "my own". When teaching my students I always try to use things that best suit their needs and encourage them to want to do their best!
Yet to be added
I have my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education (Pre-K, K, Grades 1-6), as well as a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I am a wife, mommy, and teacher that lives in Buffalo, NY. I love being Hadley's mom, spending time with my wonderful friends, Starbucks, and Target! :)
