TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a first grade teacher starting my eighth year! I am a reading specialist at the school where I teach first grade as well. I have my Masters in Reading Education. I am also the author of a new children's book, Seamore the Starfish! http://www.seamorethestarfish.com

MY TEACHING STYLE

Always positively reinforce students. I feel that positivity shines through and really helps the students learn through any learning style. I am friendly but firm, and I think it helps establish a good set of values in the classroom.
