I am a speech-language pathologist and I work in a school setting. I work with middle school students, primarily 6th and 7th grade. I previously worked at a private clinic as an independent contractor. I have experience with children ages 2-16, including a variety of severities and disorders. I have experience with the following diagnoses/disorders: CAS, Down Syndrome, Autism, chromosome 6 deletion, articulation, receptive/expressive language, fluency, social thinking, early language therapy, AAC, TBI, and feeding.
I am an energetic speech-language pathologist who enjoys using creativity during my sessions. I use a variety of books and themes during sessions to target language, vocabulary, articulation, and pragmatics. My lesson plans center around middle school curriculum and common core standards I also strive to create functional lesson plans for my clients and center their goals around family concerns and needs.
