Greetings TpT Community!! My name is Kwame Sarfo-Mensah and I have been teaching in charter schools within the Philadelphia School District for three years. I currently teach 6th Grade Math & Science.
My main goal, as a teacher, is to create a positive classroom climate that will allow my scholars the freedom to express their ideas and work collaboratively with their peers. To achieve this climate, I play the role of the facilitator and use cooperative learning as the foundation for how I instruct my scholars and how I manage the classroom. Through cooperative learning, the scholars will play an active role in their learning and, consequently, encourage each other to set high expectations for themselves.
