3 years of teaching high school French and Spanish in Title I schools in South Carolina.

I teach using authentic materials with tasks adapted for learners, and teach language through culture. I believe we should teach the way we all fell in love with language, because passion is contagious! ACTFL-aligned/obsessed, diversity, and breaking down all barriers, especially language. I believe in task-oriented, communicative, contextualized, and comprehensible classrooms. I am beginning to incorporate Comprehensible Input and TPRS strategies, and hope to make the full leap next year. I specialize in la culture francophonie and la cultura caribeña.
