TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am triple certified and have worked in multiple content areas including: -French -ESL/TESOL -Special Education/Students with Disabilities -Music (Instrumental/Theory) I've worked with a wide range of students and ages have varied. However, I have mostly worked with students in grades 7-12.

MY TEACHING STYLE

-90% in the target language -Use all four modalities during lessons (speaking, reading, listening, writing) -Use total physical response (TPR) as a way to communicate with students; as well as a study skill for them to remember key vocabulary. This method is not used all the time in my classroom; rather as a supplemental tool to teach vocabulary and verbs. -Technology based (Interactive notebooks on SmartBoard, use EdModo for a source of communication/homework, occasionally will "flip the classroom", etc.)
