TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a credentialed California teacher with an MA in Teaching. This is my fourth year as the computer technology teacher for a PreK-6th grade elementary school. I love the dynamic of getting to teach students across all grade levels during my week!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I would describe my teaching style as eclectic. I find value in many of the most common teaching styles and think it best to incorporate the best of each! I believe learning should be dynamic, structured, and fun; I seek to incorporate these elements every chance I get!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

In college, I received recognition for academic achievement by being invited to Alpha Chi Honors Society. I also graduated Summa Cum Laude.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I was homeschooled from third through twelfth grade; this has definitely given me a unique perspective on teaching because I taught myself on many occasions. After high school, I attended a CA private university for both my BA in Liberal Arts and my MA in Teaching.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I'm newly married to an amazing man and, when I'm not teaching or TpTing, we have fun going to sports games and the movies. My heart is full!
