I have taught middle school for 20 years, mostly Language Arts, but also Drama and Speech/Debate. I teach academically gifted, regular, ESL, and EC students. I also collaborate with the music and art teachers at my school to sponsor our school's musical theatre company. My best learning experience has been attending a two-week immersion into Shakespeare at the Globe Theatre in London. We worked with the Masters of Movement and Voice, as well as actors and directors.
I strive to have an interactive, loving classroom where students can have fun while learning. I try to promote the arts as much as possible in my Language Arts classroom.
