I've been teaching for 17 years. I have taught 9th-12th regular ELA, 9th and 10th PreAP (honors), and Mythology. I am also the adviser for my school's yearbook. I have almost 20 years of yearbook experience total (including high school and college) and 14 years of advising experience.

I am a wife and mother of two teenagers and three dogs. I am an out of the closet nerd...a complete geek, too. I like sci-fi, fantasy, video games, paper and pencil RPGs, and board games, too. I run a Gamer's Club at my school and decorate my room in Star Wars and Dr. Who posters intermixed with yearbook posters and information. When I'm not being a regular nerd, I'm a Yerd...a yearbook nerd. Being weird is a symptom of being awesome!
