TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have had the opportunity to follow my partner around the U.S. I have taught over 10,000 students in four states in grades K-12. The ever changing needs of my students has allowed me unprecedented opportunity to constantly improve my practice. As a World Language Curriculum Developer, I lead 57 teachers in collaborative work on creating common assessments and designing curriculum designed around the Common Core State Standards in English and Spanish Language Arts. I have written several books as well as edited Learning Languages, the refereed journal of the National Network for Early Language Learning
