I absolutely love teaching, and am so proud to be making a difference in the lives of students in such a rewarding profession. I have had many experiences in all different types of general education and special education settings and grades in northern New Jersey, including inclusion classrooms, collaborative classrooms, LLD/self-contained classrooms, resource room settings, verbal and nonverbal autism spectrum classrooms, public and private school, and ages 3-12. I have taught second, third, and fourth grade, and am currently teaching all subjects as a fourth grade teacher in a “blue ribbon” school district in Bergen County, NJ. I have been developing and administering common core aligned curriculum for many years now, along with my colleagues and district administration.
I am a firm believer in that all students are different and, therefore, learn differently. Because of this, I feel it is our calling as educators to teach to the needs of all types of learners. To do so, we must make instruction fun and engaging for our students. I come up with very creative activities and love to try new things so that my students are never “bored.” I use many methods and programs in my classroom, including the workshop model, balanced literacy, the Reading and Writing Project of Teacher’s College (Columbia University, NY), Singapore Math, Common Core State Standards, and MORE! All children have the right to a meaningful and successful education, and it is up to us to make sure they are learning through differentiated engagement.

I attended Felician College, which is located in Lodi, NJ, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude in the Honors program in obtaining my Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Education, Special Education, and English. I am NJ State Certified in grades K-12, and am highly qualified in Language Arts.
I love being a teacher, and truly feel happy waking up each morning knowing that I will be helping mold the lives of America’s future! Aside from teaching, I love to read, catch up on my favorite TV shows, and spend priceless time with my family and friends. I just want to take this time to thank anyone who buys one of my products. I am so grateful, and hope that it is a big help in your own classrooms! P.S. You might also like to know that all of the profits I make on this website go directly into a “house” fund, so by purchasing my products, you are also helping my dream come true in becoming a home owner! :)
