TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been in education for 36 years, mostly as a classroom teacher. I have been teaching AP Psychology for the last 21years. Prior to that, I taught various social studies courses at private high schools and at a local community college. ALSO: I have been an AP Exam Grader for AP Psychology Exams and I am a Consultant for the College Board, a position that gives me the opportunity to present one-day and week-long workshops for new and experienced AP Psychology teachers.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I combine lectures and discussions with many hands-on activities. My greatest joys as a teacher are making personal connections with my students and creating original assignments and projects for my students to experience.
